COOPERATION AND
PEACE ARE THE BEST BET
The Transitional Federal Government of Somalia
has recognized Khaatumo State of Somalia as a
full-fledged state and part and parcel of the of
the federal government since it has fulfilled all
the required conditions laid for federal states.
This was a pleasing news for the people of
Khaatumo state and their friends who stood beside
them in their protracted struggle for statehood.
The people of Khaatumo State of Somalia are
totally committed to Somali unity and territorial
integrity of Somalia. The people of Khaatumo state
of Somalia are dedicated to this patriotic cause
and shall never deviate from this course. This
honorable stand has earned them praise and acclaim
on the part of true compatriots and fellow Somali
countrymen.
The regime in Hargeisa is advised to re-connect
with reality and withdraw its armed militia from
all the territory that belongs to Khaatumo state
as early as possible. That is the right thing to
do. It is unwise to drag the two peoples to
destructive internecine fighting. It must be
understood that the people of Khaatumo state
cannot be subjugated at gun point. The giant
Darwiish is now awake, aware and alert.
Since its inception and inauguration on January
12, 2012, Khaatumo state of Somalia took large
strides and made significant progress. There has
been a big shift in the awareness of the people.
The people of the region are now united and
holding together firmly, and their morale is high.
But the situation is still delicate since many
parts of Khaatumo$B!G(Bs territory, including
the capital city of Las Anod, remain under
occupation by northern Somali tribesmen militia.
Khaatumo state of Somalia is run by a pick out or
a select team with firm resolve and broad vision.
The team$B!G(Bs mission is to re-shape and
re-build Khaatumo state from scratch.
Khaatumo$B!G(Bs people and their ruling body are
also ready and willing to play a big role in the
redemption of Somalia. Khaatumo state is like a
shining pole-star for Somalia.
Khaatumo state is ready to maintain a close bond
and cooperation with its neighbors to the west and
east. Khaatumo state is willing to patch up and
mend relations with the neighbors on the basis of
good neighborly relations, mutual respect and
mutual assistance. But first and foremost, the
neighbors must recognize the right of Khaatumo
people to self-rule so that they could manage
their own local affairs. The neighbors had better
understand that cooperation is better than
confrontation, and that peace is the best bet. The
two regimes in Hargeisa and Growe must stop their
deliberate and persistent sabotage and
machinations against the nascent Khaatumo State of
Somalia. You cannot succeed to undermine, wreck or
ruin or try to bring Khaatumo state to a halt no
matter how hard you try. This is because the
people of Khaatumo state are vigilant and
watchful.
